Comfort Zone

How often to we fail to try purely based on the fact that we are afraid of “looking stupid” or “being wrong” ? Why do we consistently allow ourselves to live in the realm of these tiny boxes when there is a whole world out there just waiting to be explored?

The comfort zone keeps us safe. It keeps us protected and sheltered from taking on new things. If we live with the complacency of what we know, and what we refuse to try.

So what makes us decide that we need to roam outside of our comfort zone? is it boredom? Insecurity?

Arguably, it’s both, amongst a list of other things we selfishly feel the need to fill. But, it’s not until we try that we know what works for us and what doesn’t. When we get down to the root of what works for us, we slowly begin to realize that the things outside of our comfort zones are not as scary as we perceived them to be.
